Our client, a recognized leader in the metal recycling and recovery industry, operating multiple sites across Quebec, is currently seeking a Class 1 Driver - Shunter to join their dynamic team in Saint-Hubert.
Tasks
Safely move and handle trailers and roll-off containers throughout the yard and at loading docks;
Operate a wheel loader to supply production lines, load and unload materials, and sort metals;
Perform trailer coupling and uncoupling operations, lower trailer landing gear, and apply security seals;
Maintain yard cleanliness and take photos of materials shipped to customers;
Complete pre-trip inspections and report any equipment issues or irregularities;
Work closely with the scale attendant, supervisors, and production team;
Strictly follow all occupational health and safety regulations;
Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Job requirements
Mandatory hands-on experience operating a shunter truck and a wheel loader;
Valid Class 1 driver's licence (strong asset);
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards;
