Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with one rotating Saturday morning shift approximately every 4 to 6 weeks.
Our client, a company specializing in building materials located in the Saguenay region, is seeking a Class 3 Driver to join its team. If you enjoy working on the road, interacting with customers, and staying active throughout the day, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.
Tasks
Safely deliver building materials to residential customers and construction sites;
Operate a boom truck (truck-mounted crane) to transport and unload materials;
Provide professional and courteous customer service during each delivery;
Conduct pre-trip inspections and complete all required safety checks;
Accurately complete transportation, delivery, and vehicle-related documentation;
Ensure the cleanliness and proper condition of the truck and equipment;
Promptly report any breakdowns, irregularities, or maintenance requirements to the appropriate person;
Assist with preparing deliveries and handling materials when required;
Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Position Details: Delivery activities are seasonal. A winter shutdown period is scheduled from December to March. Depending on operational needs, approximately two workdays per week may be available during this period.

Job requirements
Valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver's licence;
Experience operating a boom truck or truck-mounted crane is a strong asset;
Ability to lift and handle loads of up to 50 lbs;
Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team;
Demonstrated autonomy, professionalism, and strong prioritization skills;
Forklift operator certification is considered an asset.
