Tasks

  • Always comply with traffic laws and maintain safe driving practices.
  • Strictly follow assigned routes and daily schedules.
  • Use a tablet to validate pickups in real time and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Load and unload the truck at suppliers’ locations and at the warehouse.
  • Handle merchandise, including boxes weighing up to 20 kg (44 lb).
  • Perform a daily preventive inspection of the refrigerated truck.
  • Maintain positive professional relationships with suppliers and partners.
  • Ensure safety at all times, both on the road and when handling goods.
  • Perform any other related tasks as required.

Job requirements

  • Valid Class 3 driver’s licence (FM endorsement is an asset).
  • Strong command of French, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to communicate orally in English with certain suppliers.
  • Good knowledge of the Greater Montreal area and strong sense of direction.
  • Consistent and rigorous application of traffic laws.
  • Ability to perform physical work, including handling loads of up to 20 kg (44 lb).
