Tasks

  • Support the Head Nurse or immediate supervisor in their duties.
  • Assess the health status of users with complex needs and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Assume clinical responsibility for a range of biopsychosocial care.
  • Provide nursing and medical care and treatments to maintain, restore, or promote health.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate advanced care programs.
  • Contribute to the development or adaptation of clinical tools and care quality assessment methods.
  • Act as a resource person for colleagues and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Coordinate services both within and outside the facility.
  • Assist in onboarding new staff and support the training of interns.
  • Oversee clinical teaching for users, families, and groups.
  • Participate in research projects and the continuous improvement of practices.
  • Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a bachelor’s degree with three (3) eligible certificates, including at least two (2) certificates recognized in nursing (mandatory).
  • Active member in good standing of the OIIQ (Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec) (mandatory).
  • Relevant experience in hospital settings, long-term care, or senior care facilities.
  • Availability to work variable schedules.

  • You demonstrate strong clinical judgment, autonomy, and consistent rigor in implementing care plans.
  • You are fluent in French, both spoken and written, in all professional situations.
