Schedule
Daytime, Monday to Thursday (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). Possibility of overtime to finish at noon on Friday.

Tasks

  • Prepare machines according to specific project needs.
  • Perform necessary maintenance on the machines before and after each use.
  • Read and interpret the drawings necessary for the manufacture of custom parts.
  • Operate different CNC and conventional machines to make custom parts.
  • Ensure the quality of the parts produced by performing precise checks at each step of the process.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the accuracy of the parts and their compliance with specifications.
  • Use lifting equipment to move and prepare parts.
  • Weld parts as required using MIG, TIG or arc processes.
  • Maintain the workspace clean and orderly while respecting health and safety standards.
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • DEP in Machining or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in machining with numerical (CNC) and conventional machines in a similar environment in Quebec.
  • Excellent reading and interpretation of plans.
  • Excellent communication skills in French, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work in a team while being autonomous.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with high precision.
  • Proficiency in MIG/TIG/ARC welding is an asset.
  • Knowledge of FeatureCAM or Fusion360 is an asset.
  • Ability to provide physical effort and lift loads of up to 25 kg, as required.
