Day shift (8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), Evening shift (4:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.), and Night shift (12:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.)
Our client, a company specializing in sheet metal fabrication, is seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful individual to fill a CNC Laser and Press Brake Operator position in Baie-D’Urfé.
This role involves producing parts according to specifications by performing laser cutting, bending, inspection, and safe material handling operations.
Tasks
Analyze technical drawings, 3D models, and customer files to prepare the information required for manufacturing;
Convert, verify, and organize DXF, DWG, STEP, and PDF files prior to production;
Create CNC programs for laser cutting and press brakes while considering materials, thicknesses, quantities, and tolerances;
Prepare efficient nesting layouts to optimize sheet utilization and minimize material waste;
Determine cutting and bending sequences, parameters, tooling, and appropriate manufacturing methods;
Produce setup sheets and clear instructions for machine operators;
Support production during setups, first-piece inspections, troubleshooting, and quality-related issues;
Maintain program revisions, tooling data, and production documentation.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job requirements
Technical training in mechanical engineering, industrial drafting, metal fabrication, machining, or a related field;
Experience in CNC programming within a sheet metal manufacturing environment;
Experience programming CNC laser cutting machines and press brakes;
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, tolerances, and specifications;
Experience with CAD/CAM, nesting, or CNC programming software;
Ability to work with DXF, DWG, STEP, and PDF files.
