Our client is a well-established transportation company in Quebec, known for the quality of its operations and the stability of its team. With a large fleet of trucks and trailers, the company is currently seeking a dispatcher to support its operations in Saint-Hyacinthe.
Tasks
Manage and coordinate the daily activities of approximately 10 drivers assigned to Intermodal.
Communicate with clients in case of delays and make necessary schedule adjustments.
Manage transit times, driving hours, and appointments.
Assign drivers for pickups and deliveries.
Create and manage the movement of units in the dispatch system.
Plan and optimize routes on a daily basis.
Perform any other tasks related to transportation operations.

Job requirements
2 to 3 years of experience in dispatching within the transportation industry.
Bilingualism (intermediate French and English) required 50% of the time, as the clientele speaks English.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent geographic knowledge of Quebec.
Access to a vehicle.
Ideally, should be familiar with the "Dispatch Mate" system.
