Day shift, 40 hours per week. Monday to Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Recognized for the quality of its products, the stability of its teams, and its positive work environment, the company is looking to add a machinist to its workshop to handle part machining and production setup. The selected candidate will play an important role in producing technical components while working alongside an experienced team.

Tasks

  • Machine parts using a conventional lathe and milling machine;
  • Prepare setups required for machining operations;
  • Support operators in equipment preparation and optimization of work methods;
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings;
  • Measure, cut, drill, deburr, clean, and identify parts according to production needs;
  • Set up and operate various machine tools;
  • Monitor machining operations and adjust cutting parameters as needed;
  • Perform quality control using precision measuring instruments;
  • Carry out basic maintenance of equipment;
  • Complete documentation related to production operations;
  • Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements

  • DEP in Machining or equivalent experience;
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Strong manual skills and interest in conventional machining;
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings;
  • Precision, attention to detail, and meticulousness;
  • Autonomy, resourcefulness, and strong learning ability;
  • Ability to adapt to a variable work pace;
  • Ability to lift loads of up to 50 lbs;
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude;
  • Experience in an RF communications company (asset).
