As a Family Office located in downtown Montreal, the CPA Accountant will be responsible for managing the finances of a high-net-worth family, including personal tax returns and accounting data entry.

Tasks

  • Prepare and manage the family’s personal tax returns.
  • Ensure the entry and tracking of accounting data in internal systems.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for the companies.
  • Work closely with the external firm (EY) on complex accounting tasks and financial audits.
  • Handle accounting, primarily for investment portfolios.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • CPA designation (member in good standing).
  • Bilingual (written and spoken) in French and English, to support an established English-speaking clientele in Quebec (40%).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of CTRL software (an asset; training provided).
