Tasks
Deliver practical and theoretical training in defensive driving.
Assess the skills of new drivers through simulations or road tests.
Observe and support drivers in equipment usage, inspections, and onboard technology.
Provide on-site coaching to ensure tasks are carried out safely and independently.
Offer ongoing coaching on safe delivery techniques and driving best practices.
Identify training needs and recommend adjustments or complementary modules.
Conduct follow-ups after incidents or risky behaviors.
Participate in the analysis of events and incidents, in collaboration with the operations and safety teams.
Travel to other sites when needed.
Contribute to various internal safety and compliance initiatives.
Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements
Valid Class 3 driver’s license (Class 1 considered an asset).
Hands-on experience driving heavy or commercial vehicles.
Knowledge of safe handling practices for fuel or hazardous materials (an asset).
Strong understanding of road transport laws and safety standards.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Availability for occasional travel to other sites.
Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written, required for constant communication with head office (100% of the time).
Desired profile
Experience in a trainer, mentor, or coaching role with drivers.
Ability to adapt training methods to suit participants' skill levels.
