The electric pallet jack is loaded, the order is complete, and the pallet is ready to go. But before it gets there, you’ll have made your way through the warehouse to pick every item.
Our client, a well-established Quebec company in the furniture and home décor industry, is looking for order pickers to join its team in West Laval. You will follow order slips, pick merchandise from different warehouse aisles, and carefully build pallets for shipping.
No electric pallet jack certification? No problem! Paid on-site training is provided to help you quickly get up to speed and join the team.
Tasks
Pick and assemble orders for furniture and home décor items according to order slips.
Operate an electric pallet jack to pick and move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
Use a barcode scanner to locate products and track orders in the system.
Gather items and build pallets for shipping.
Verify products, quantities, and order accuracy.
Report missing, damaged, or non-compliant items.
Package merchandise and secure pallets for safe transport.
Move completed orders to designated shipping areas.
Assist in different areas of the warehouse based on team priorities and operational needs.
Keep work areas clean, safe, and well organized.
Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements
Experience using a barcode scanner is an asset.
Be physically capable of lifting, moving, and handling furniture and other heavy or oversized merchandise.
Be willing to work in different areas of the warehouse based on team priorities and operational needs.
Be comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment.
Be reliable, work well as part of a team, and take pride in a job well done.
Previous experience as a warehouse associate or material handler is an asset.
Electric pallet jack operator certification is an asset.
