Then this position is for you! Our client, a fast-growing company specializing in the design and manufacturing of automated solutions, is looking for an Electrical Assembly Technician to join its team in Lachine.
Tasks
Assemble, install, and test electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components used in automation systems (controllers, modules, sensors, motors).
Perform wiring, harness assembly, and cable assemblies according to electrical schematics and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
Assemble, solder, and rework electronic boards (PCBs) in compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-610 standards.
Install required software and perform functional testing of automated components.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of assemblies.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to processes, documentation, and components to optimize performance and manufacturability.
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements
DEC or DEP in electronics, electrotechnics, or a related field (required).
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in electrical or electronic assembly.
Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC/WHMA-A-610 standards (an asset).
Experience in quality assurance (an asset).
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and production documents.
Knowledge of soldering methods for wiring and electronic circuit boards.
Experience in electrical assembly and sub-system wiring in a production environment.
