As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will contribute to defining the electrical architecture of automated equipment deployed in industrial and agricultural environments, where performance, reliability, and innovation are essential.
You will help develop technologies that optimize critical operations on a global scale, while making a tangible and lasting impact.
Tasks
Analyze customer electrical requirements related to packaging, processing, and conditioning processes in the nutrition, agriculture, and organic materials sectors.
Contribute to the electrical design of automated equipment such as bagging and dosing systems, robotic cells, palletizers, and complete bulk material processing lines.
Produce drawings, schematics, and technical documentation integrating pneumatics, hydraulics, industrial automation, and control technologies (FANUC, TOMA, MOVN).
Provide technical support during equipment commissioning, including validation of electrical architectures, calibration of weighing and bagging systems, and optimization of communications between robots, conveyors, and palletizers.
Diagnose electrical design issues at customer sites and provide appropriate technical recommendations.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team in automation, robotics, mechanical engineering, and industrial processes.
Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
Experience with EPLAN software.
Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and innovative mindset.
Strong interest in design and technical development.
Intermediate level of English, required for internal communication with teams outside Québec approximately 40% of the time.
