Do you have experience assembling electrical panels? Are you able to read and interpret technical plans and schematics? Our client, a well-known company in the electrical and automation industry located in Saint-Hyacinthe, is seeking an Electrical Panel Assembler - Team Leader for its control and power panel manufacturing workshop. Reporting to management, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the workshop, supporting and supervising team members, and ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with plans, quality standards, deadlines, and established work procedures. The Team Leader also remains actively involved in assembly and wiring activities, serving as a technical resource for the team.

Tasks

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily workshop activities to meet production priorities, deadlines, and objectives.
  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of panel assemblers while ensuring efficient workload distribution and adherence to best practices.
  • Ensure the availability of materials, components, and equipment required to complete projects.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics to oversee manufacturing and assembly work.
  • Ensure the quality of control and power panels by supervising testing, inspections, and compliance checks.
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of work methods, manufacturing processes, and workshop organization.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements

  • Training or experience in electricity, electromechanics, or automation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French.
