Junior electromechanics candidates are welcome to apply. The company is primarily looking for a motivated, resourceful individual who is eager to develop their skills. More experienced candidates will also be considered.
Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Drummondville, is seeking an Evening Shift Electromechanic to ensure the reliability and availability of its equipment. The selected candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of production equipment.
Tasks
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment using technical drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures and carry out the necessary repairs.
Respond quickly to production stoppages and equipment breakdowns.
Carry out continuous improvement projects involving electrical and mechanical systems.
Modify PLC programs and operator interfaces as required.
Participate in identifying and correcting health and safety risks.
Update technical documentation and support electrical and mechanical design projects.
Perform all other related duties.

Job requirements
DEP in Electromechanics or equivalent training.
2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of electrical control equipment and automated manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical plans, diagrams, and schematics.
