Our client, a well-established and growing company specializing in medical and paramedical equipment, is seeking an Electromechanical Technician – Medical and Paramedical Sector to handle the installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of specialized equipment used in various healthcare settings throughout Quebec. The ideal candidate must have a vehicle, as repairs are carried out both at the client's locations and at the office.

Tasks

  • Participating in equipment installations and removals during relocations.
  • Performing repairs both in-house and directly at client sites.
  • Diagnosing technical issues and proposing effective solutions.
  • Providing courteous and professional customer service.
  • Writing intervention reports and ensuring thorough follow-up.
  • Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements

  • Vocational diploma (DEP) in electromechanics or college diploma (DEC) in instrumentation and control.
  • Minimum 2 à 5 ans d’expérience en électromécanique.
  • Solid knowledge of mechanics, electricity, basic electronics, computing, and micro-soldering.
  • Functional bilingualism (French/English); the candidate must regularly interact with English-speaking clients 20% of the time.
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness in execution.
