Tasks

  • Provide leadership to a dynamic team of 25 to 50 employees in the receiving area.
  • Ensure compliance with productivity, quality, and accuracy standards.
  • Assist in planning production and labor schedules.
  • Actively participate in the recruitment process for the assigned department.
  • Analyze performance reports and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct weekly performance evaluations for team members.
  • Clearly communicate goals and expectations to the team.
  • Lead disciplinary investigations and apply appropriate measures.
  • Distribute tasks to ensure optimal workflow.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations and asset protection protocols.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Job requirements

  • College diploma (DEC, technical diploma, or equivalent) or university degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a warehouse or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of accounting and/or inventory management (an asset).

Desired profile

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy loads.
  • Ability to learn and operate an internal logistics system.
  • Strong leadership skills.
