Are you passionate about customer service and technical equipment? Do you have extensive experience in heavy machinery parts and want to contribute to the success of a well-established company in its sector?
Our client, a company located on the South Shore of Montreal and well-established in the distribution of heavy equipment for the environmental and construction sectors, is looking for a Senior Parts Advisor to support its commercial and operational activities, working directly with both internal and external clients.
Tasks
Welcome, advise, and respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, or in-person.
Accurately identify technical needs and recommend the appropriate parts or solutions.
Prepare estimates, create purchase orders, and ensure complete follow-up on files.
Ensure the accuracy of information in the ERP system (orders, inventory, deliveries).
Collaborate with the purchasing team to initiate orders based on urgency levels.
Support the technical service team with parts requests and quotes.
Manage internal returns and ensure effective coordination with the warehouse.
Participate in equipment training and observe repairs to better understand the products.
Apply health and safety regulations and contribute to a positive and safe work environment.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, ideally related to heavy equipment.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and comfortable with digital tools.
Bilingualism (French/English) required to communicate frequently (about 50% of the time) with English-speaking clients and suppliers.
