Our client is currently seeking labourers who are comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment, including strong odours related to resin handling. If you’re looking for a hands-on role that’s anything but ordinary and that requires precision and attention to detail, this position is for you!
Tasks
Performing fiberglass lamination and assembly according to established quality standards.
Cutting, shaping, profiling, and fitting parts using hand tools to create precise components.
Applying resins and fiberglass layers using spatulas, brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
Loading and operating autoclaves for curing and bonding assembled components.
Trimming, grinding, and polishing parts to achieve final shape and finish.
Preparing surfaces for painting through sandblasting and finishing with pneumatic grinders.
Conducting quality control at each stage and reporting defects to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
Maintaining a safe work environment and following health and safety procedures related to composite manufacturing.
Carry out any other related duties.

Comfortable working with highly odorous products such as resin.
Ability to stand for several hours while wearing a mask and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ability to use manufacturing and cutting tools (saws, knives, rollers).
Strong attention to detail and precision to ensure high-quality parts and assemblies.
Experience in a manufacturing environment in Quebec is considered an asset.
