Tasks

  • Planning and Compliance: Assist in developing the annual budget, prepare tax credit and grant applications, and support tax audits.
  • Analysis and Control: Review sales taxes, perform account analyses, ensure the reliability of financial data, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Operational Support: Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, process supplier invoices, support tax filings, and produce required reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support corporate initiatives, produce strategic reports, and act as a resource person on tax and compliance matters.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
  • CPA designation obtained or in progress.
  • Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written, in order to collaborate effectively with teams based in the United States.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and priority management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian taxation and management accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and ease with ERP tools (ideally Microsoft Dynamics), Power BI, and Planning Analytics.
