A successful company for 35 years, with the means to match its ambitions, is currently looking for a Financial Controller to join the executive team and support the General Manager in improvement and growth initiatives at the Sherbrooke facility.

Tasks

  • Act as a key member of the executive team
  • Continuously optimize financial and operational processes, including internal controls and the effective use of the ERP system, as well as its integration with the accounting system
  • Produce and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic reports (sales, purchasing, etc.) to support informed decision-making
  • Manage the full accounting cycle, including financial statement preparation, compliance with government requirements, and participation in budget development (monthly, annual, and forecasts)
  • Oversee key financial operations, including payroll, billing, accounts payable and receivable, as well as cash flow and banking positions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to optimize processes, ensure data reliability, and oversee inventory-related activities and overall performance
  • Perform any other related duties

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing SME
  • CPA designation (an asset)
