Our client, an established leader for nearly 50 years, is currently seeking a Fire and Alarm Technician to handle the maintenance and repair of security systems.

Tasks

  • Perform inspections at client sites and maintain systems from Siemens and other manufacturers.
  • Use a multimeter to carry out accurate measurements.
  • Respond to occasional service calls.
  • Complete weekly reports using Excel.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Carry out various related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Vocational diploma in security system installation and maintenance or in electronics, and/or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of electronics.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Fluency in French (spoken and written) and functional English (ability to occasionally communicate with English-speaking clients).
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Must own a vehicle for travel.
  • Occasional availability for emergency calls in the evenings and on weekends.
