A province wide recognized social economy enterprise, our client is currently seeking to expand the team at its Levis sorting centre. We are looking for a Heavy Machinery Operator for the day shift. The selected candidate will be responsible for safely operating various mobile equipment and contributing to the smooth execution of production operations.
Tasks
Safely operate mobile equipment (wheel loader, skid steer/bobcat, forklift).
Perform visual inspections of equipment according to established procedures.
Assist, when required, with minor maintenance work alongside the maintenance team.
Clean separators on the production line.
Participate, as needed, in sorting activities and quality control on conveyor belts.
Strictly comply with all health and safety standards.
Perform all other related duties.
