Furniture Upholsterer

Tasks

• Upholster furniture with fabric according to specifications and established quality standards;
• Select and identify upholstery fabrics based on the products being manufactured;
• Safely and efficiently use upholstery tools and equipment;
• Make necessary adjustments to ensure a flawless finish;
• Inspect product quality throughout the assembly and upholstery process;
• Follow work methods, production procedures, and deadlines;
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area;
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production objectives;
• Perform all other related duties as required.

Job requirements

• Experience in furniture upholstery or a similar role (a strong asset).
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work standing for extended periods.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong focus on quality and craftsmanship.
• Good learning and memorization abilities.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and organized.
