Tasks
Plan the return of vehicles for inspection based on the established schedule and operational needs.
Maintain ongoing communication with operations teams regarding the current and future condition of the fleet.
Manage and monitor the garage's daily schedule.
Keep maintenance records up to date and generate required reports, including service calls.
Coordinate, authorize, and follow up on repairs handled by external suppliers.
Assess repair proposals and recommend the most cost-effective and efficient solutions.
Respond to service calls from drivers, vehicle attendants, or clients.
Organize and monitor on-road mechanical interventions.
Quickly evaluate requests and find suitable solutions to various situations.
Perform any other tasks related to mechanical operations.

Job requirements
1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role or a related field.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of systems such as AS400.
English is rarely required for this position (about 5% of the time for communication with colleagues).
Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in heavy vehicle or diesel mechanics (an asset).
Desired profile
