Human resources are all about putting people at the heart of the organization. In this role based in Saint-Jérôme, you will have the opportunity to play a key and hands-on role within the HR department, with a strong focus on labour relations. You will be at the center of interactions between managers and employees, in an environment where collaboration, proximity, and team spirit truly make a difference.

Tasks

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle and participate in workforce planning.
  • Act as a resource person for employees and managers on various HR-related matters.
  • Oversee labour relations in a unionized environment, including interpreting the collective agreement and handling certain disciplinary cases and grievances.
  • Coordinate the onboarding and integration of new employees.
  • Participate in performance management, salary reviews, and the development of HR policies.
  • Manage occupational health and safety (OHS), disability, and benefits files.
  • Validate and follow up on payroll using ADP.
  • Produce various HR reports and metrics.
  • Participate in organizing corporate activities and contribute to the employee experience.
  • Perform any other related duties associated with the position.

Job requirements

  • DEC in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HR role.
  • On-site presence required in Saint-Jérôme, 5 days per week.
  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with ADP payroll system.
  • Knowledge of Nethris system (an asset).
  • Experience in labour relations within a unionized environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • CRHA/CRIA designation (an asset).
