Our client, a Quebec-based engineering firm recognized for its personalized approach, spirit of innovation, and commitment to excellence, is seeking an Industrial Draftsperson to join its growing team. Primarily active in the agri-food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical sectors, the company stands out for its ability to deliver complex technical projects customized to the specific needs of its clients. In this key role, you will contribute to the design of tailored solutions by turning ideas into concrete plans, helping to bring a wide range of engineering projects to life. You will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, meet with clients, and play a central role in delivering their installations.
Tasks
Produce 2D and 3D plans (AutoCAD) for layout, piping, and equipment installation.
Update P&IDs and draft technical documentation.
Develop technical specifications and track changes.
Conduct on-site measurements and assess client needs.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes.
Work closely with various teams to ensure project quality and compliance.
Perform any other duties related to the position.

Job requirements
DEP or DEC in industrial drafting, mechanical engineering, or any other relevant training.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a draftsperson/designer in industrial equipment.
Strong command of AutoCAD (2D/3D), Solid Edge, and SolidWorks.
Solid understanding of custom manufacturing processes, including piping, machining, welding, and assembly.
Good knowledge of industrial instrumentation and welded mechanical assemblies.
Bilingual (French and English) to serve a bilingual clientele (majority English-speaking suppliers).
Comfortable with computers and familiar with Collabox or SAP software.
