Tasks

  • Ensure the proper operation and reliability of production equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Quickly identify and resolve mechanical and electromechanical breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Replace or repair defective components to maintain optimal machine performance.
  • Calibrate, adjust, and align equipment to ensure accuracy and operational safety.
  • Respond efficiently to production stoppages to restore operations as quickly as possible.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment while ensuring optimal performance from startup.
  • Perform regular inspections and anticipate maintenance needs to prevent equipment failures.
  • Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate, up-to-date service records.
  • Strictly apply lockout/tagout procedures to ensure safe operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and report any hazardous situations.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize processes and support productivity.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job requirements

  • DEP in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics (or equivalent).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (asset).
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
