Our client, a company specializing in the production of packaging paper, is seeking an Industrial Mechanic for its plant located in Trois-Rivières.

Tasks
Start up and shut down equipment according to current procedures.
Perform paper splicing with precision to ensure the quality of finished products.
Feed machines with the raw materials required for production.
Thread paper and replace rolls in accordance with safety guidelines.
Visually inspect produced bags to ensure they meet quality standards.
Quickly identify mechanical or technical issues and apply appropriate solutions.
Adjust machine components to maximize performance and production efficiency.
Participate in preventive maintenance activities and carry out basic maintenance tasks.
Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements
2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in paper bag production.
DEP in Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanics, or other relevant technical training (an asset).
Experience in mechanics or a related field (an asset).
Desired profile

Versatility, resourcefulness, and strong observational skills.
Excellent manual dexterity.
Good understanding of industrial machinery operations.
