Our client, a major player in its industry, is looking for an intermediate accountant to directly support the controller. In this strategic role, you will actively contribute to the reliability of financial data, optimize accounting processes, and ensure the smooth execution of month-end activities, all within a collaborative and performance-oriented team.
Tasks
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including coding, verifying, and entering supplier invoices.
Prepare payments (cheques and electronic transfers), perform bank deposits, and track receipts.
Create and maintain client files, process credit card payments, and follow up on accounts based on established terms.
Participate in the month-end process, including bank reconciliations and journal entries.
Perform analyses and reconciliations of certain general ledger accounts.
Prepare various financial reports and assist during the physical inventory.
Collaborate with internal teams and perform any other related tasks linked to accounting operations.

Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent training.
7 to 10 years of experience in accounting, including accounts payable and receivable.
Excellent understanding of the month-end process.
Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and quality of work.
Dynamism, proactivity, and strong team spirit.
Bilingualism (French/English) required to understand and communicate with English-speaking clients (oral and written), with 50% usage of English.
