Tasks
Coordinate and plan intermodal movements (containers and trucks).
Efficiently dispatch drivers according to operational needs and terminal schedules.
Monitor inbound and outbound containers (tracking, deadlines, and status updates).
Communicate with rail terminals, railway companies, and customers.
Optimize equipment movements and reduce downtime.
Schedule pickup and delivery appointments at terminals.
Collaborate with internal teams (warehousing, billing, and operations).
Manage unexpected issues related to rail delays or terminal constraints.
Ensure deadlines and customer commitments are met.
Maintain up-to-date tracking and dispatch systems.
Perform all other related duties as required.

Job requirements
Experience in transportation dispatching (intermodal experience is a major asset).
Knowledge of CP and CN rail networks (an asset).
Good understanding of transportation and trucking operations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong organizational and stress-management skills.
Excellent communication skills with various stakeholders (customers, terminals, and drivers).
French and English bilingualism required to communicate effectively with English-speaking customers and drivers (approximately 20% of the time).
Comfortable using tracking systems and dispatch software.
Knowledge of transportation and logistics (an asset).
