This position plays a central role in the smooth execution of an operation’s daily warehouse activities. The selected candidate is responsible for administrative follow-ups related to freight movements, coordinating information between customers and operations, and directly contributing to efficient on-site logistics. In a fast-paced environment where priorities change quickly, the incumbent must manage multiple files simultaneously, process information accurately, and effectively support logistics operations.
Our client, a well-established Quebec-based company in the transportation, warehousing, and logistics sector, is looking to welcome an Intermodal Logistics Clerk to its team. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic warehouse environment connected to rail, marine, road, and intermodal operations. They will play a key role in operational file follow-ups, information coordination, and day-to-day support of on-site activities.
Tasks
Manage operational and administrative files related to rail, marine, and intermodal activities.
Receive, analyze, and process customer requests sent by email and through the internal system.
Enter required information into the computer system and ensure data accuracy.
Coordinate follow-ups of rail, marine, and road arrivals to support smooth operations.
Manage customer releases and ensure administrative follow-up of marine containers.
Monitor shipments and receipts to validate the accuracy and compliance of freight movements.
Support the manager in coordinating the site’s and warehouse’s daily activities.
Prepare and send daily reports to management.
Facilitate the flow of information between customers and warehouse operations.
Ensure continuity of logistics operations by maintaining thorough and up-to-date follow-ups.
Perform any other related tasks tied to the responsibilities of the position.

Job requirements
Relevant experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or administrative coordination in a similar environment.
Experience in logistics within an intermodal transportation company.
Knowledge of road, marine, and rail transportation in an operational environment.
Strong computer skills, including ERP and CRM systems, as well as data entry.
Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously with attention to detail.
Professional, service-oriented approach with strong coordination skills.
Excellent command of both French and English, spoken and written, as approximately 50% of customer communications are conducted in English.
