Our client is seeking an autonomous and versatile Irrigation Systems Maintenance Technician to join its dynamic team in Montreal. If you enjoy working outdoors, solving technical problems, and providing outstanding customer service, this opportunity is for you.
You will play a key role in the maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and optimization of existing irrigation systems to ensure proper operation and efficient water usage.
Tasks
Perform system start-ups in the spring.
Conduct mid-season inspections and system checks.
Perform system shutdowns and winterization procedures in the fall.
Diagnose and repair leaks.
Replace and adjust sprinkler heads.
Repair valves, low-voltage electrical components, and controllers.
Optimize existing systems to improve performance and efficiency.
Program and adjust conventional and smart (Wi-Fi) irrigation controllers.
Enter service records and photos into the company’s management system.
Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements
Experience as a field service technician or in a similar role.
Comfortable diagnosing hydraulic, mechanical, and low-voltage electrical issues.
Strong customer service skills.
Demonstrated autonomy, professionalism, and reliability.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Valid driver’s licence and a good driving record.
Availability to work a variable schedule starting as early as 6:00 a.m. and occasionally ending in the evening.
