We are looking for a versatile and motivated individual interested in a role that combines industrial mechanics, laser cutting programming, and CNC machine operation, within a dynamic and collaborative team.

Tasks

  • Perform basic preventive maintenance on production equipment and provide mechanical support during minor troubleshooting.
  • Program laser-cut parts based on technical drawings and files using TRUMPF TruTops and Boost software.
  • Create and optimize nesting layouts to maximize material usage and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in the integration and optimization of programming processes and production workflows using Boost software.
  • Operate CNC laser cutting machines, including machine setup, material loading, and production start-up.
  • Monitor cut quality and ensure produced parts meet specifications, drawings, and tolerances.
  • Analyze technical or quality issues and collaborate with relevant teams to propose improvements.
  • Follow occupational health and safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform any other related tasks as required.

Job requirements

  • DEP (vocational diploma) in industrial mechanics, electromechanics, or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, autonomy, and attention to quality.
  • Team spirit and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest or experience in CNC laser programming (TRUMPF experience is an asset).
