Our partner, a well-established and growing law firm offering several areas of practice, is looking for a legal technician specialized in litigation for its Quebec City office. The selected candidate will play a central role in preparing, coordinating, and following up on cases to ensure efficient, compliant, and smooth management on a daily basis.
Tasks
Prepare, organize, and follow up on litigation files, in close collaboration with the lawyers and team members.
Draft and format the required legal documents, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance.
Manage deadlines, priorities, and schedules, ensuring that files are kept up to date and complete.
Coordinate the administrative steps related to the files, including organizing hearings and preparing necessary follow-ups.
Perform verifications and research in public registers when required (e.g., SOQUIJ, land register, RDPRM, etc.).
Ensure effective communication with internal stakeholders to support the progress of cases and smooth operations.
Perform any other tasks required to support the team.

Job requirements
DEC/DEP in legal techniques, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil and/or commercial litigation.
Excellent command of French, both written and spoken.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Windows environment).
Knowledge of practice/document management software.
Knowledge of public registers (SOQUIJ, land register, RDPRM, etc.).
Rigor, attention to detail, good priority management, and the ability to work efficiently in a team.
