Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Planner plays a central role in the planning and organization of maintenance activities. He ensures that human, material and technical resources are mobilized effectively in order to guarantee the reliability of equipment and the continuity of operations. This position is strategic, as it contributes directly to the optimization of production and continuous improvement.
Tasks
Develop and monitor the preventive and predictive maintenance plan.
Plan, coordinate and prioritize daily work based on production needs and resource availability.
Maintain an up-to-date history of equipment, work orders and interventions performed.
Prepare material requests and follow up on delivery times.
Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement projects and committees related to equipment reliability.
Create, update, and track work orders.
Contribute to the maintenance of quality, safety and environmental certifications and standards.
Write and present various reports related to maintenance.
Replace the Maintenance Supervisor as needed to ensure continuity of operations.
Monitor and analyze the department's performance indicators.
Act as an ambassador for occupational health and safety by ensuring compliance with rules and procedures.
Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements
Education: DEC or DEP in mechanics, electricity or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 3 to 5 years in maintenance planning, ideally in an industrial environment (unionized environment, an asset).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Knowledge of JDE is an asset.
Knowledge of continuous improvement and supervisory experience are additional assets.
