This Maintenance Supervisor position offers you the opportunity to play a key role in equipment performance and team engagement.

Tasks

  • Mobilize, supervise, and support a team of electromechanics in a unionized environment to maintain a healthy and productive work climate.
  • Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment availability and reliability.
  • Diagnose technical issues and intervene promptly to minimize production downtime.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment performance and plant productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards within the team.
  • Oversee building maintenance and coordinate work with subcontractors as needed.
  • Use a CMMS system to plan interventions, analyze data, and improve maintenance processes.
  • Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements

  • DEP in Electromechanics, DEC in Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent training.
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supervising teams, ideally in a unionized setting.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and excellent priority management.
  • Proficiency with computer tools and a CMMS software (UPKEEP is an asset).
  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written; English is an asset (approximately 30% of communications with English speaking suppliers).
