Our client is looking to add a Maintenance Technician to their team. This position offers the chance to contribute to the growth of an innovative and expanding company.
Tasks
Manage tenant service requests using the Yardi platform.
Respond to emergencies (alarms, fire, disasters, etc.), including outside regular hours, on a 24/7 basis.
Coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure quality work in maintenance, repairs, or replacements, and report any issues.
Accompany external contractors during on-site interventions.
Carry out various general maintenance tasks as needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.
Perform regular inspections of interior and exterior facilities and follow up on any corrective actions.
Perform basic repair work (doors, plastering, painting, ceiling/floor tiles, etc.).
Keep technical rooms and maintenance areas clean and organized.
Periodically check safety systems: alarms, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, sprinklers.
Replace janitors during absences or vacation periods.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written – essential for internal and external communications (50% of clients are based in Ontario).
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), with hands-on experience using the Yardi platform.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, combining administrative, accounting, and operational responsibilities.
Availability for evening and weekend rotations to handle emergencies.
Relevant experience in building maintenance and operations.
A vocational diploma (DEP) in general building maintenance is considered an asset.
