Our client, a growing company specializing in the design and manufacturing of automated solutions, is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Supervisor – Team Leader for their Lachine site.

Tasks

  • Supervise, lead, and motivate the team of mechanical assemblers in carrying out their daily tasks.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the progress of mechanical assembly work.
  • Ensure the quality of assemblies according to technical plans and drawings.
  • Work closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in testing, commissioning, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during assembly.
  • Perform various administrative tasks related to production follow-up (reports, data updates, etc.).

Job requirements

  • Diploma (DEP) in industrial mechanics or mechanical assembly (asset).
  • Relevant experience in mechanical assembly (mandatory).
  • Experience in team supervision or management (mandatory).
  • Strong foundation in reading and interpreting mechanical plans.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with tools required for mechanical assembly.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • Natural leadership, organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail, autonomy, and a team-oriented mindset.
