Our client, a growing company specializing in the design and manufacturing of automated solutions, is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Supervisor – Team Leader for their Lachine site.
Tasks
Supervise, lead, and motivate the team of mechanical assemblers in carrying out their daily tasks.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor the progress of mechanical assembly work.
Ensure the quality of assemblies according to technical plans and drawings.
Work closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations.
Participate in testing, commissioning, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during assembly.
Perform various administrative tasks related to production follow-up (reports, data updates, etc.).

Job requirements
Diploma (DEP) in industrial mechanics or mechanical assembly (asset).
Relevant experience in mechanical assembly (mandatory).
Experience in team supervision or management (mandatory).
Strong foundation in reading and interpreting mechanical plans.
Ability to interpret technical drawings.
Proficiency with tools required for mechanical assembly.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
Natural leadership, organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
Attention to detail, autonomy, and a team-oriented mindset.
