Tasks

  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities for vehicles and equipment in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Supervise, support, and motivate a team of mechanics.
  • Manage the facility and rolling equipment while respecting budgets and timelines.
  • Monitor and optimize maintenance and repair costs.
  • Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and external partners.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety practices.
  • Lead, engage, and develop the garage team.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements

  • Training in heavy-duty mechanics or a related field.
  • Experience managing a team of mechanics in a garage environment.
  • Strong operational management skills (budgets, suppliers, service).
  • Comfortable using technology and digital tools.
