At the heart of production, you play a key role between engineering and the shop floor. We are looking for a rigorous and structured Methods Agent, capable of developing, optimizing, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance in machining operations.

Tasks

  • Develop and optimize manufacturing methods for machined parts.
  • Define routing processes, workflows, and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams.
  • Analyze technical drawings and determine the most effective manufacturing strategies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (cost, quality, delivery).
  • Support production during new product introductions and technical adjustments.
  • Ensure methods comply with internal standards and customer requirements.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and manufacturing records.
  • Apply safety, quality, and internal procedures at all times.
  • Perform all other related duties.

Job requirements

  • College diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a methods role or related position.
  • Experience in machining, structural assembly, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes in a production environment (asset).
