Tasks

  • Respond accurately to parts inquiries from customers and technicians.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and advice to properly identify needs and recommend appropriate parts.
  • Prepare quotations and invoices and ensure thorough follow-up with customers and suppliers.
  • Maintain proactive communication to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Place parts orders with suppliers according to operational requirements.
  • Receive, inspect, and organize merchandise efficiently to ensure effective warehouse management.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control by verifying stock levels and inventory records.
  • Make the necessary adjustments to keep inventory records up to date.
  • Use computer systems and internal software to track parts, orders, and transactions.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements

  • Experience in parts management, inventory control, or counter service.
  • Knowledge of the mechanical, industrial, or equipment industry is considered a significant asset.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, particularly inventory management systems or ERP software.
  • Strong bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written, to communicate frequently with the U.S.-based head office (approximately 40% of the time).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing, inventory management, and invoicing.
