Tasks
Optimize layouts for automated cutting machines (Lectra, Eastman, Zund).
Carefully upholster seats, sofas, and cushions.
Sew fabrics while adhering to quality standards and aesthetic expectations.
Prepare and structure bill of materials to facilitate manufacturing stages.
Adapt patterns by considering the specifics of materials and stretching parameters for optimal results.
Contribute to the improvement of existing products by suggesting adjustments and refinements.
Research and experiment with new manufacturing techniques to maintain a creative and technological edge.
Actively collaborate on various tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the team and operations.

Job requirements
Strong experience in pattern making, with excellent attention to detail and precision.
Proficiency in pattern design software such as Optitex, Lectra, or other similar tools.
Experience in the furniture industry is a significant asset.
DEC in fashion production or a related field (asset).
Knowledge of SolidWorks or other technical drawing software is a plus.
