This opportunity could be the next step in your career. We are looking for a Plant Manager to oversee all production activities and help the company achieve its growth, quality and profitability objectives.

Tasks

  • Manage day-to-day production operations.
  • Plan, coordinate and optimize plant activities.
  • Oversee purchasing, procurement and inventory management.
  • Ensure quality, productivity, cost and delivery targets are met.
  • Identify and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency.
  • Supervise, engage and develop plant employees.
  • Participate in employee recruitment, onboarding and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, as well as occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Analyze operational performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements

  • Education in production management, food processing, business administration or a related field.
  • Management experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production operations, inventory management and cost control.
  • Knowledge of food safety and occupational health and safety standards.
  • Engaging leadership style and hands-on management approach.
  • Strong decision-making, priority management and project execution skills.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
