Your attention to detail, rigor, and autonomy allow you to effectively support the Director of Operations in planning and coordinating company activities. Our client, a well-established Quebec-based leader in the transportation industry, is currently looking for a Procurement Advisor.

Tasks

  • Plan and coordinate group purchasing projects with member organizations and internal teams.
  • Develop procurement strategies and contractual approaches tailored to operational needs.
  • Conduct market, strategic, and comparative analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Draft, review, and manage contractual documents (RFPs, clauses, agendas).
  • Handle administrative and commercial follow-ups on contracts.
  • Manage suppliers and resolve non-conformities and contractual disputes.
  • Coordinate committees, working groups, and follow-ups with members and external partners.
  • Optimize procurement and contract management practices.
  • Perform ongoing regulatory and market monitoring.
  • Carry out any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, procurement, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in public procurement.
  • Experience managing complex contracts (an asset).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong command of French and English (spoken and written) to communicate with a bilingual clientele (~30% of the time).
