In this context, we are currently seeking a Procurement Agent to join their team.
Tasks
Plan and carry out purchases based on needs and inventory levels
Issue purchase orders and ensure thorough follow-up
Negotiate purchasing terms with suppliers (pricing, lead times, conditions)
Monitor deliveries, delays, and claims
Analyze costs, inventory levels, and supplier performance
Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams
Actively participate in the continuous improvement of procurement processes
Perform any other related duties

Job requirements
DEC (college diploma) in procurement or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement (SME or retail environment is an asset)
Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills
Autonomy, attention to detail, and excellent prioritization skills
Comfortable using computer systems (ERP, Excel)
Functional English required to communicate with suppliers outside Quebec or internationally (approximately 40% of the time)
