The position of Production Planner is permanent, full-time (40 hours per week), and based 100% on-site. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will supervise a planning coordinator and play a key role in coordinating and optimizing production activities. This strategic role aims to ensure effective, reliable, and operationally aligned planning, while promoting smooth communication across departments.
Tasks
Plan and schedule daily production by line, optimizing schedules to maximize equipment utilization.
Monitor the execution of the production plan and adjust in real-time based on unforeseen events or constraints.
Create, track, and distribute production orders, respecting deadlines and priorities.
Check stock levels before starting production and alert the procurement team in case of urgent needs.
Maintain flexibility in schedules without compromising quality.
Contribute to the improvement of planning systems, processes, and inventory management policies.
Control the inventory of finished products and ensure compliance with required levels.
Collaborate closely with production, procurement, logistics, customer service, and management teams.
Manage the printing and distribution of production documents and labels.
Perform any other tasks related to planning.

Job requirements
Degree in operations management, logistics, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment (ideally in chemical products and batch production).
Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office suite.
Knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus).
Excellent ability to manage priorities and adapt to changes.
Autonomy, initiative, and a sense of responsibility.
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and accuracy.
Strong team spirit and interdepartmental communication skills.
