Our client, a company in the food processing industry, is seeking a Production Supervisor for a one-month temporary assignment. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing production operations to ensure production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and health and safety requirements are respected.

Tasks

  • Supervise and oversee the execution of the production schedule.
  • Ensure production quantities, established procedures, and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate workforce allocation across workstations to optimize operations.
  • Implement the weekly production plan and monitor its execution.
  • Perform all other related duties.

Job requirements

  • Fluent spoken French: Effective communication is essential.
  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food industry.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), considered an asset.
  • Positive leadership skills and the ability to motivate and engage a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Self-motivation, initiative, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems efficiently.
  • Strong commitment to quality, occupational health, and workplace safety.
