Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Supervisor plays a key role in planning, coordinating, and supporting production employees. The person in this role ensures smooth day to day operations while meeting goals related to health and safety, quality, productivity, and deadlines.
Tasks
Supervise and engage production teams while ensuring the application of the collective agreement.
Promote and enforce health and safety standards by acting as a role model on the production floor.
Motivate the team to achieve targets related to safety, quality, productivity, and schedule compliance.
Ensure the efficient execution of the production schedule in collaboration with planning.
Actively participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Collaborate with the maintenance department to plan and organize equipment interventions.
Contribute to department budget preparation and development strategies.
Lead the training plan and the team’s skills matrix.
Determine staffing needs based on workload planning.
Participate in various support tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Job requirements
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in an industrial environment.
DEC (college diploma) in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Strong computer skills and an interest in technology.
Knowledge of Lean principles and operational excellence.
Strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities.
