Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor is a hands-on leader responsible for the daily management of production activities in the press and corrugator departments. Acting as a key liaison between management and unionized teams, the supervisor ensures that health and safety, productivity, quality, service, and resource optimization goals are achieved.
Tasks
Plan, direct, and oversee production operations (press and corrugator departments).
Enforce and comply with occupational health and safety standards.
Engage and supervise production employees (approximately 40 unionized workers).
Ensure product quality and compliance with current standards.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
Analyze non-conformities and implement corrective measures.
Coordinate human and material resources effectively according to the production schedule.
Serve as a mentor and representative of the organization on the production floor.
Maintain a positive work environment and open communication with teams.

Job requirements
College diploma in a technical field or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
Previous experience supervising a production team.
Strong command of computer tools (Microsoft Office suite).
Proficiency in spoken and written French.
Knowledge of corrugated cardboard processing (an asset).
Experience or training in continuous improvement (Lean, 5S, Kaizen – an asset).
